On 1 July 2020, there is an online meeting with a selected group of speakers from the original Song Studies Conference. During this workshop, participants will discuss trends and approaches in song studies and articulate a perspective on future directions of this research field.

28-30 May 2020: Spheres of Singing online conference
From 28-30 May 2020, the conference Spheres of Singing will take place online.
Spheres of Singing is intended to be a celebration of diversity in the research and practice of singing and song. There will be contributions in the form of workshops, papers, lecture recitals and posters from undergraduates, postgraduates, academics, practitioners (singers, singing teachers, song leaders, conductors, educators, therapists, etc.) and composers, from the Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences, Sciences and Medical Research.
